Dumbest City

I appearently just moved to it. Yes, Fort Wayne was just voted the dumbest city in the U.S. by the Men's Health magazine. Even places like Laredo Texas and Las Vegas beat us. (The smartest are said to be Minneapolis, Boston, and Denver). I guess they used things like Bachelor's degrees per capita, residents' SAT scores, state creativity scores (patents per capita, for instance) as assessed by Catalytix and the Richard Florida Creativity Group, number of universities, and number of Nobel Prize winners for physics and medicine born within city limits to help them come to this conclusion. The city is not too happy about the diagnosis, but that is something you kinda help bring upon yourself. Anyway, I'm not sure if this makes me feel better or worse about moving here.

Other than that, things are going alright. Hoping to find a job(s) this week. There is a part time office job at Taylor that I really want but I don't know when I will be hearing about it. Kinda nervous about all this but I know God is faithful and He will see me through! I am also learning my way around the city a bit. In the past couple days I have been all over the place though with Rach at the wheel and I still am getting very lost at times. In about every direction from our apartment there is a different shopping center (a couple with malls, 2-3 walmarts around, etc.). It will be really handy to have about any store I would want to go to within about 15min. of home, but for now the process of sorting it all out is going pretty slow. Well, I guess I have only been here 3 whole days so I still have an excuse! I don't like the stop and go of city driving and the drivers here are just dumb, but the awesome thing is that u-turns are legal. You can do it right in the middle of the road as long as nobodys coming!!!! This could/is really going to save me some time in the near future:)
